Why didn't the USSR win the cold war? Why isn't North Korea the leader in world invention? They should have been edens since they were totally secular.A nation may declare a secular government and there are many, but that doesn't mean the people are secular and they generally aren't.... The people of the USSR were largely Christian, ie Russian Orthodox...the former SR's still are.

The USSR was a religious country, you say. Now we know.

Why isn't North Korea the leader in world invention?lol.........are you suggesting that religions spur inventiveness?????? If religion had it's way, you'd still believe the sun circled the earth... btw, the USA is officially a secular nation.

You probably don't know Copernicus was a Catholic cleric. Our constitution says there shall be "no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof." That means people are free to be religious or not.
