So Charles,

Let me get this straight: you think a statement from a company's investor relations is the same as a rumor ? You and I clearly have a different set of definitions. Here is mine:

A rumor is a statement unsubstantiated by the company.

Maybe we can agree on a word for when a company continues to release inaccurate information when good judgement would suggest not to do so.
