I have known a couple people who have owned more than one convertible. I even know an octogenarian that has kept his Yellow 1969 Cutlass convertible on the road for decades.

That is funny. I have had to get used to the concept that people will not steal from the bed of a pickup. A laptop would disappear from there too, but I can leave bags of stuff in the Wal-Mart parking lot and nothing has turned up missing yet. Maybe people have a different image of a person who drives a work truck than they have of a yuppie in a beamer. One of them might be expected to be more physically intimidating. <g>
