Bobo asks for opinions on these questions... will ASND will make their qtr? Since I'm not a day trader I don't obsess on quarterly numbers. I do believe that the stock will go up. How much do I believe? I recently wrote some Mar 60 puts (for a pretty premium :-) I'm betting that they will either expire out of the money or that I can buy them back for much less than I sold them. What is your perspective on Mory's leadership? Mory was recently quoted -- techweb.cmp.com -- as saying This [deal with Cascade] is not a merger. This is an acquisition. There is one boss. I think that sums things up nicely. thoughts on encroaching competition The company with the right set of features will do best. Features include cost, but large ISPs care about operating costs as well as to unit costs. Reliability and general quality are also important. The company that listens the best is most likely to come up with the right feature set. Someone here posted a month or so back that Cisco sales critters were arrogant. Did they stop listening? Have they started listening again? // marc
