Never give up hope of finding a good one or two. After 40 years, I still remember a kindly older couple(about my age now) that came up to me in the big city and started a conversation with me. They could tell I was worried(with very good reason) about leaving my car parked on that particular side street. They assured me that they would watch over my car and that I should go have a good time exploring the Big Apple. Where I grew up any mention of that area required the use of five words, as in "N.Y.-S.O.B.'s"......9/11, moving out of Florida and direct contact with N.Y. snow birds, and the passage of time has tempered most of my old biases towards N.Y......Now it's the F.I.P.'s and Chicago types that I have to watch out for.......;>)
