the point is, "How much is enough?"

1. There is no such thing as enough fire support when you are being shot at.

2. Soldiers never think about the cost of the equipment that is keeping them alive on a battlefield.

3. Financing war is a political issue.

4. Rumsfeld's war-fighting techniques save lives, save equipment, save ammunition, and save money. The only reason they are successfull is we have overwhelming fire-power. If we lose that edge everything will be different.
