Ultimately they accepted Obama and hoped for the best. He could have been great but his militant agenda was so pathetic he screwed us up bad. Maybe the Trump agenda swings the pendulum right but due to the screw ups of the last 25, especially last 8, years what seems like drastic measures must be taken to steer back on course. The electorate saw it and voted him in.
