This is truly pathetic. We are in a bearish phase of the networking sector. Networking stocks are going down fast and takes days to recover half the losses. On top of that the expectations for these companies are sky high. That happens especially with technology companies whose technology is at the cutting edge and is less understood. So any deviation from the usual beaten path is viewed as a negative. Ny main question is what is taking USR so long to delpoy ? Why dont they start the upgrades on the existing Sportsters and make them work with the x2 ISPs ? Why wait for the actual 56k client modems to be shipped ? USR's managements silence and flaky responses to deployment dates is doing no good to anyone. I am getting disappointed and worried that if their lead time is shrinking to just a couple of months then that is not enough for momentum investors to come in. -hitesh
