OK, OK KB,
So, Mohammed wasn't a gleam in anyone's eye when the North Italians whupped the Semites. Or was that the Hashemites? Granted. But, it is in the subtle interpretations of the souk one seeks the syrup of subversion. At least until they created the madrassahs to mainline poisoned thought.
As for life in the post oil era, we couldn't be on the samer page. That's a ways down the line, for the next 30 years, some of our policy planners forsee trading crude oil for joint strike force fighters. While this is good for thems what owns the oil, and thems what makes the war machines, I'm not exactly sure I want to subsidize these two players with a huge DoD presence in the region. Seemingly, our money could be better spent elsewhere. As far as walling off the region, letting them pound stone, or salt, or sand...... I'm all for it. I don't see much point to the Mid East, now that the consternation of it all supercedes the benefit of cheap oil by several orders of magnitude.
Salaams, Ray
PS: I was hoping the "your sorry ass" comment would get you riled, but instead you answer me patiently. I jus' about hate that worse than anything. :^) There comes a time in the life of every flame warrior, when enlightenment comes. One understands the wisdom that all life is but a whimsy. The planet we call home but a remarkable accident of cosmic fate, and the follies of our emotions but a mere scintillation of electro-chemical stimulation without ultimate purpose. Though I still like this 72 virgins fantasy..... <w> Just kidding.. |
