New York, May 17 (Bloomberg) -- Yahoo! Inc., the Internet gateway company, will disclose an agreement this week with AT&T Corp., Newsweek magazine reported. The arrangement reportedly will be similar to that of America Online Inc. and Tel-Save Holdings Inc., a long-distance phone company that paid $100 million to become AOL's official long-distance partner, selling services through the online service and saving money by billing its customers electronically. The magazine also said Inktomi Corp., an information-services provider that creates Internet searching software, has displaced Alta Vista Internet Software Inc., a unit of Digital Equipment Corp., as Yahoo!'s search- engine partner.
Yahoo Inc. and other Internet search services are adding features in an attempt to expand from ''search engines'' to Web ''portals'' with loyal audiences by adding services such as e-mail, chat rooms, news, sports scores and classified advertising.
