I agree- this has all the earmarks of forced selling.

Either tax loss selling, or perhaps international hedge fund selling. I'm beginning to believe that the international hedge funds owned foreign stocks traded on the NASDAQ. I've seen similiar irrational selling in FLEXF the first week of September, and again this last week, in spite of continuing growth and very bullish statements made by management.

Astonishingly, my portfolio is up significantly today, as my three largest positions, FLEXF, JBL, and my speculative play VLNC are all up. But I'm taking a bath on this DSWLF shares.

There are rumors that Long Term Capital positions are being unwound, and this is hitting the dollar against the yen, and causing swings in Treasuries. Assuming that hedge funds are being forced into making changes now, it is possible that someone has been forced to sell some of their equity positions regardless of price.
