Shalom, I've decided to answer the questions as I found them. Instead of one long answer that would take ISDN to bring in. First of all we know that God is so smart that there isn't just one or two or hundred answers. The Holy Spirit could go on about these topics and make them all meaningful to a particular situation. 1. First let's get the Apple out of the way.... "Never have been able to verifiy what friut it was. My guess is it wasn't an Apple. And since the tree has been removed from earth it is probably a fruit we have never seen. 2. "seed of woman": This is the Messiah. Since everything is born via seed of man and Jesus is the only seed of woman. Virgin birth. (is 7:14 and Luke 1:31). My guess is since Adam was held accountable for the sin and not Eve then Adam could have nothing to do with the birth directly. Can't get to religious with this becasue Eve came out of Adam. 3.Why is Cain out of linage: This is a common theme throughout the bible you see linage meantioned with some left out. It is called "the Bloodline" the Rigtheous line It is the line from which the Messiah would come. ref Gen 5; Mat 1; Ruth 4 18-22. Again in Luke 3. It's all over the place. The Gen 5 just indicates that the Blood go back to Seth. You'll see the same obvoius ommissions in the chapters I indicatred about. Like the line comes through King David and Joseph. They had allot of brothers but they are left out in blood line. Gen 3:15.. He shall bruise(crush) your head and you shall bruise Him on the heel. This is a prophecy for the Messiah will crush Satan on the head and Satan will be allowed to inflict a temporary blow to the Messiah. Why the bruise is to the heel(temporary). Just some of the Christ crushed Satan's head" I John 3:8; Just two references here. There are too many to be found where Christ Crushed Satan and brusied his head and took back the keys to Kingdom Rev 1:18; Eph 2:14-18 (broke down enmity in the Law). Jesus crushed Satan's head and took back the Keys . Next post will outline this. Satan had a head wound for 2000 yrs. Best description of the he shall brusie His heel is in Is 53. I'll go to cain's lineage Monday. But I think it's a type for Satan. Cain's lineage is a type for copying God's lineage. Satan is always trying to copy God. And, his stuff can look real to people who don't know the Word.
