So Ryan just said it. They want to get rid of ACA medicade and turn it into block grants for the states and it will save hundreds of billions of dollars. The block grants will have less money and state's great discretion to to do what they want with it. Ryan just wants pure capitalism medical care which has never worked in any country because insurance companies do not want to insure sick people! What this means is people on medicade expansion will be at the mercy of each state who will never fund insurance programs to match what people have now. Some estimate 15 million people will lose their insurance. Ryan brags about what a big move this is to get rid of government intrusion! Trump supports doing it this year which means he lied to his supporters when he said he would protect them. Surprise, surprise.
