John, You are making several assumptions about LU that seem inaccurate though in general a bad quarter or 2 will make any stock in this market drop like a stone. Look at Unisys and HIFN recently. The smart thing to do is what AAPL did. Pre-warn about earnings 3-4 of weeks ahead of time. After taking the hit, announce numbers well ahead of the new estimates bringing the stock closer to previous levels even after a 20% decline in overall EPS. How many stocks in this market have a price to book of 2? That math may work on paper, but not with this market. Brian
