That's easy.
Because never, in our nation's history, have we been able to carry out such a program with the hard decisions and competence required. Like those found at pretty much any significant insurance company.
And there you go. Look at Medicare. Look at Medicaid. Look at VA. Look at Medicare Part D, which started life as a fairly well-planned and managed operation, and in only ten years time, destroyed by Obamacare.
Our government, economic system, and population, IMO, prevent these programs from working in this country. We have never been able to develop a working health care program within our government that can stand the test of time. Even Medicare, over the course of 50 years, is 50 trillions of dollars short of funds.
If I were the King I could solve the problem pretty easily. But we don't have kings, don't want them, and it isn't how we do things. |
