Coming to a (Washington State) Costco Near You By PunditGuy Beer and wine samples. Our clever Washington State Legislature, who can't seem to pass a decent DUI law, now wants to enact legislation allowing grocery stores and like establishments to pass out booze samples. Yes, now you'll be able to go to Costco, or Safeway, KMart or Walmart and partake of a few samples of the newest barley and hops, then get in your car and drive away. Brilliant.
