One thing that Sullivan said on Rose last night that the others agreed with and I have found to be true is how much this internet conversation we are all having changes you. It has certainly changed me over the last five years. Some opinions I hold have become stronger, but many have been changed to an opinion I didn't agree with before.

Another thing I find I do is to admit that others are smarter than me and listen to them when they prove it. Everybody has some area of expertise, and it works as a "group mind" in this environment if you will let it. You either have to give way to better expressed ideas, and be better prepared to defend your own, or you disappear from these threads. Or end up on "ignore."

Anybody here who finds that they have not learned from being here is doing themselves a disservice. If nothing else, you learn to write better, and express your thoughts more clearly and logically. And hold your temper. :>)
