With such a large volume and a consistent distribution of shares it does not look like manipulation. If it were manipulation we may see a spike somewhere on a high volume and small shares being traded to keep the inflated price up or some such. It smacks more of irrational buying thinking that it is cheap. I think it will eventually come down when the volume tapers off but is appaling to say the least.
