The EIA found that meeting the Kyoto treaty greenhouse gas limits would lead to a 52 percent increase in gasoline prices, an 86 percent increase in electricity prices, a 4.2 percent decrease in GDP and 2.5 percent decline in personal disposable income.

I don't know about anyone else except those in my family, but increases of 52% in gasoline and 86% in electricity on top of the 25-50% increase in gasoline and 100-200% increase in electricity forecast for this year in CA kinda eats big holes in the current disposable income that amount to more than the 2.5% above. There won't even be any disposable income left to reduce by 2.5%
