Thats a good point but the problems for Oracle are - 1) They haven't had a hit upgrade to challenge their prior release since Oracle7. Oracle7 was bigger than 6, but 8 never took off. We need to see if 8i really is a reason to upgrade or not for most customers. 2) The apps business has disintegrated - not just for Oracle but for everybody. So I think the problem for Oracle is how they are going to capitalize on the internet - they aren't going to make any money on a 6 year old product. Michelle
