Actually, with a surprising degree of consensus about the basic science of global warming - at least among scientists.

Mary, please note the emphasis. This is not an all or nothing proposition. Some of it can be so without all of it being so. Remember this from your earlier post?

Is I responded earlier, there is, indeed, consensus is on the basic part. It's critical to differentiate between the consensus part and the whole package. The rest of the package is up in the air.
