TC: Thanks for seeing some of what I am saying. However, I wasn't looking at it from the commissions aspect.

having a position in it, short or long.
Hyping one direction or the other.
Actually these revalations might even have a side benefit.
People may actually do MORE DD, and more THOROUGHLY,
if they thought that a poster wasn't just having the normal exhuberance for a stock.
There's that old saying." I trust you, of course, but er,can we cut the cards?"
In this case, the "cutting of the cards" would be research, just to double check what was being said.
You know as well as I, some/most people believe most of what they read.
In the past I have always encouraged (always gently, of course.LOL) people to post links when they reference something, so that people can look for themselves to see if what a poster has said is, in fact what was meant, or even said at all.
When no reference is made, (with links) most people won't check for themselves, resulting in misinformation sometimes being "snuck" by.
At any rate I don't run this thing, which is probably good, because I wouldn't care if every penny was selling for $250 a share and everyone were millionaires. LOL
I have no shame..LOL
