The collapse in the market was brought on by one event -- the Microsoft ruling

The Clinton-Blair joint statement on the human genome had already taken a lot of the wind out of the biotech bubble. And if that hadn't popped it, something else would have. The momentum players don't need much of an excuse. Now we can get back to looking for nuggets amongst the rubble.
