As far as the possible shareholder return on the Freak, I have been working on trying to get a number or a range. Some people have PM'd me with their thoughts. I indicated in earlier posts that this is our main challenge. We can't sustain .10, .12 unless we can ballpark earnings per share from the Freak and other projects. We have to be able to capture estimates from most of the potential sources of income. US and foreign box office, cable, network, music, video sales, rental and the residuals of multiple uses. Also as Steve Zahn becomes increasingly popular the films value becomes increasingly popular. Think of any present day star and you will see many of their early films on television freqently just because they were in them years earlier. NSKY is also working on some new film projects also. When these are announced we will need to know the potential and attach some guesses. On these future projects they will, I assume, be financed in part by private placement. So some film investor will be thinking that the film has potential. As you may recall in the film Titanic, many thought that they would never get their money back because of the tremendous expense. Wrong , they will make a bundle. On the other hand ,I remember a bomb with Dustin Hoffman and Warren Beatty, I think it was Ishtar. Film makers are guessing until the last moment as to the profitability of films. We will not be any different. |
