Hi KEN! I followed Mike Andrews(post 10081) advise and unchecked the copying of the data files during setup (renamed also the QPdata folder to a different name as backup!).After the program seemed to start fine i simply renamed the Qpdata to it's original name and have still data for 8 years. Not updating the datafiles is the key when you simply want an updated program. Thanks for the answer... Stefan
