Simon, whatever happens short term, deals like this one with Shanghai Bell -- key player in the multi-billion person Chinese market -- can ONLY be positive for the long term. I like this kind of news. Gary Korn FYI, the world population is 5+ billion, and Chinese population is 1.2+ Bln. Chinese telecom market is closely held. With great efforts and many years of good PR, CSCO finally signed some contracts total several mln$ couple of months back. Unless ASND forms partnership with China/Chinese firms, I do not see them benefit greatly. I have been watching ASND for a while, looks like it held above 40 nicely today. It's a great co long term. Short term, it'll be affected by general market and the uncertainty is killing the (short term) bulls. It seems there's a good chance that ASND might test 52-week lows, if market keeps declining furthur (dow <7600 & nas<1550?). W.
