JS, This is a stark choice the Palestinians are presented with if you are correct. If Hamas particularly, is not willing to deal and I do not view this as an impossible thing, given the fall of iraq and the short leash Iran and Syria are on, plus my never ending optimism which hopes that one day all folks will see the light regarding the stupidity and futility of this war in particular, then the israelis will have no choice but to do Abu Mazen's works and expel Arafat and dismantle the hamas infrastructure much like the US has done to al quaida, one body at a time.
