Will, another point. A lot of people who have 33.6 capable modems but can't connect to their ISP at better than 28.8 are in that situation because a) their ISP doesn't support 33.6kb, or b) they have Ascend/Rockwell based hubs, where 33.6kb is poorly implemented.
