Janice, in regards to Alan Greenspan's job description, that is exactly what he is there for. He is there to control US fiscal policy which, like it or not, IS global fiscal policy. We are the most important free economy in the world. If there was anyone out there that didn't see this as a possibility, the way the market's been acting post election, than you're idiots. Greenspan has ALWAYS burst the bubble when necessary. He was what saved the market after 1987 and he's worked incredibly hard to prevent that type of a meltdown since. If this market was to shed off 1000 points, so what! That would still leave us with a market above 5000 and a hell of a lot of good companies at fair valuations. Obviously the market shrugged this off today. It was a great day to trade volatility. Perhaps they'll even begin to print sell tickets again some day. There's been no need to waste the paper for the last month.
