Kerry was a very tough prosecutor. He's not soft on crime. In fact, with Elliot Spitzer as his possible Attorney General, expect the crooks in the penthouses to finally be held accountable.

Remember it was "liberal" Bobby Kennedy who was the first one to take on the mob. Some say that contributed to the two Kennedy assassinations. Of course J Edgar Hoover also had relationships with the mob. And in Cuba they were all mixed up with the CIA. Anyway, don't worry about Kerry and law and order. Cops and firemen are behind Kerry and he's proven he's very tough.

That said, we have terribly overcrowded prisons and couts in this country. It's time to decriminalize marijuana. Canada has and state by state the US should follow. Should also allow hemp to be grown for paper pulp, fuel oil and other uses.
