Actually, I am new to all this. I am currently a USR Shareholder as well. I believe USR Products are basically second to none. I've been using USR Modems since the 2400 baud Era. But, I fell into USR's HST Modems. When I operated a small BBS, the Rage was USR's 14.4k Courier HST's. I mean it was the greatest thing since sliced bread. But when the V.32 standard et all hit. Everybody was connecting at 2400 baud, with non USR 14.4k Modems. I did not feel bad at all though. Since I squeezed every bit of usage out of it. I can only say.... " I HOPE USR will win the battle on the technology front " Heh, wonder if there is gonna be another USR x2/K56 Dual Standard Modem. Since USR is quite known for all their Dual Standards. Heck I'm running on one right now.
