In the News: Globe says GT Group cleared to accept leading bid GT Group Telecom Inc GTG Shares issued 80,975,071 Nov 8 2002 close $ 0.05 Monday November 11 2002 In the News The Globe and Mail reports in its Saturday, Nov. 9, edition that GT Group Telecom has received approval from the Ontario Superior Court of Justice to accept the leading bid received during its merger and acquisition process. The Globe's Briefing column reports that GT Group Telecom, which is operating under bankruptcy protection, said it has also received approval to enter into an exclusivity agreement with the leading bidder that expires Nov. 15. Group Telecom said it also received an extension of protection under the Companies' Creditors Arrangement Act until Dec. 11.
