ML: Joe down graded earnings on ASND because he did not want I short-term buy on the stock if they miss est. Remember he wants to be the number 1 anylsts in networking when the rankings come out. He does not know if they will hit their est. and is playing it safe. No onw will know if they meet est. tell the 2nd week of Sept. Expect an upgrade from him shortly after they announce earnings. Managment won't start giving much guidance tell they know for sure weather they will meet est. All they have been saying so far is that Europe is very slow ... Cover his ass is exactly what he's doing...the qtr is still up in the air...but many anylsts feel the odd's are against this stock this qtr...also managemnt has some credibility problems given the bullish confernece and then the 8-k filing so soon after...
