The Supreme Court has ruled and whether you agree with the decision or not, it is final

The decision is only good until the next decision which will either modify or completely change direction or leave stand the previous ones.

I'm not a lawyer, but it seems to me that a decision is just that, it is not a law. So repeating the mantra "rule of law" may sound more impressive, but I'm not so sure it is as accurate as you might project.

The decision might have the "force of law", but I think "rule of law" is a term that should be reserved for the statutes themselves.
