About Share Buyback

Well actually I do agree that my interest in the share buyback lessened with the announcement of the new CEO. Previously I was in deep panic that Marengi would grasp at an acquisition. However I still think keeping that cash around is tempting fate. The Novonyx deal isn't going to be cheap. It practically takes another Schmidt to run effectively. This is a lot on somebodies plate coming in the door.

The guy isn't going to have much time to sort it all out. He can cut through the balony fast but that is why he needs to bring in his own proven loyal management team.

We don't have much time for politics. The iceberg is straight ahead. I don't want to see Marengi fighting over the wheel.

Marengi has not solved the marketing and PR problems. I'm not sure exactly what he has done for Schmidt except create more political problems. Can't he just shut up.

When Frankenburg left there wasn't a lot of mouth flapping. He just left quietly. With Marengi its hard to know what the hell he is doing. He can no more define his place in the company now than he could define the direction of the company to the stockholders during his tenure. Can't this company get focused?
