Look, put this in perspective. Why praise only the shorters? There's more to it than that.

When EDIG longs hit 24 it was like Mark McGwire, Sammy Sosa, Ken Griffy, Jr. and LongGoneJuan Gonzalez, et. al., banging out homeruns; when EDIG shorters got to today's nine mark, it was like John Rocker throwing wrongful but still yet nasty stuff. Here's the real future: Those EDIG homerun hitters have a lot more promise bapping the ball over the fence than will RockMouth trying to justify his psychiatrist.
