From the Yahoo Boards: LSI Ranked Among Most Admired Chip Companies February 24, 1998 The magazine's March 2 issue polled executives, directors and securities analysts, asking them to rate 476 companies in 55 industries. Companies were judged by eight attributes, including: innovation; quality of management; employee talent; quality of products and services; long-term investment value; financial stability; social responsibility; and use of corporate assets. "LSI Logic is among a select few to be voted by Fortune magazine's jury as a 'Most Admired' company in our category," said Rick Marz, executive vice president of geographic markets. "This recognition by executives and analysts is a testament to the high quality of our products and the high caliber of all our worldwide employees. We'll look forward to moving higher on the list next year." Wish some of these admiring people would start buying the stock.
