Here is a copy of an I mail I just sent to support@datek.com I am one of your customers, account# (deleted) When I moved my account over to Datek it was because of my dissatisfaction with the brokerage I used previously (Discover, formerly Lombard) - in particular how slow and unreliable the connection to their servers was. Recently Datek has become just as bad as my former brokerage, and I am seriously considering taking my business elsewhere. I can accept slowness during the first few minutes after the market opens, but getting... The application servers for this type of request for this web server are temporarily unavailable. If this occurs off-business hours (in Eastern Standard Time in the US, of course), then we are probably performing routine maintenance on those application servers, and it should be up in a few minutes. If this happens during the trading hours, please try an alternate web server from our Services Website Directory. ...from all your (Classic) servers regularly throughout the day is not what I consider acceptable. Can you give me any reason whatsoever why I should stay with Datek ? ---- A second question: I was (finally) able to enter an order on one of your servers, but on the "Daily Activity" it shows up as "Rejected". Why ? (tracking # B-100-AABU-5190)
