Dear Shalom, I have spent a long time tonight answer your
short questions with very long, long answers. But when I
finished, they were gone. "time had expired" What in the
world is that? Just as well, probably it was way, way
too much talk. But I had written much about the Waldenses,
and I'm sorry I lost it all.
When I noticed that you sometimes just post scripture to
post scripture, I felt like I had time-warped back to the
Jesus Freak days.
You have inspired me to also write scripture on Salvation
Rock, and if anyone else wants to, then you won't have to
be the only one doing it for everyone. During Sabbath time
especially if I can get into any sort of Christ-centered
mode and away from the mindless things I get involved in,
it seems a wonderful activity for that day.
I'm sorry some of the other things I mentioned tonight
"expired", because probably there was something in there
you would have been interested in. It has been years and
years since I have found anyone who wanted to just talk
about our Heavenly Father and our Most Precious Lord
Jesus Christ, so it is still a source of amazement, and
definitely an idea whose time has come. For some reason
I would not be comfortable just "out there" on the net,
but here, on SI the thread, it seems like a religious refuge of some
sort. Truly Ask God serves a wonderful purpose, and a place
for lighthearted fellowship and even doctrinal discussions of
all sorts. I think it would be very pleasing to our Lord
if there could be a place where He could be lifted up so all
men would be drawn unto Him at all times, and this thread
seems very quiet and still for that purpose.
