Dr.Drees in a 1994 letter to shareholders stated the following:

"How big is the market? The worldwide market for transfusions alone is 60,000,000 transfusions a year. If we did not have to use donor blood, the worldwide market has been estimated by the 'World Health Organization' to be 120,000,000 transfusions at $300 per transfusion or $36 billion a year, which would make PHER-02 the LARGEST DRUG IN HISTORY.Zantec and Tagamet, chronic ulcer drugs, are now about 1/10 of that"
