You guys are doing a splendid job of contributing to the thread now. I feel I can sit back and enjoy.
Don, I'm sure BC will do right by us eventually as time and money permit.
Norm, I agree with your comments. There is plenty we stockholders could do for GRNO if it wasn't for the SEC. Look what happened to Bo O'Brien.
On the subject of R&D from the last news release, allow me to say I told you so, I was afraid of that, the JV will be the R&D arm of GRNO and the work will be done in China instead of Charleston. Maybe what will be learned will belong to GRNO and shared by the JV, but what really counts is, who will do the work?
We stockholders will reap the long term benefits of greatly increased versatility and technological power as it is learned how to use GRNO to process crude and other oils, but I am sure the near term bottom line will be impacted because the R&D costs will be expensed.
The conversion of the preferred will result in further injections of capital. The fixed prices will not provide any incentive to depress the common. In fact, for those who must sell common to convert their preferred, they will want to hold their preferred as long as possible to sell their common as high as possible.
Off topic - on the subject of politics, for those who think our president does such a fantastic job in his public life as opposed to his private life, think about this:

Once again, the whole thrust of the global warming political effort is focussed on our reduction of carbon emissions and absolutely nothing is being said about the burning of forests rather than the planting of same. As long as Americans get their news fed to them from 1/2 hour network 6 o'clock news shows instead of thinking through the consequences to their lives of large jumps in the cost of energy, this administration will continue to wear teflon and nothing will stick.
The conversion of waste oil to diesel complements the global warming effort because it cracks the long lube oil molecule which burns inefficiently into the diesel molecule which burns very efficiently in the diesel engine. Unfortunately, our legal and political systems do not lend themselves well to common sense solutions.
