My wife was watching this and said, "I can't believe it but he's not a total idiot." And he isn't.

I think he, unlike his buddies, can see that there is no end game in this. It started in the late 90s and has gotten progressively worse, and it mostly because of the attitudes of liberals. All they have to do is stop with the ridicule and talking down to everyone else, to allow elections to be fairly run, and respect the outcomes like the rest of us do.

It needs to be cut off before the nutjobs (clueless kids) reach a critical mass. Otherwise, the Democrats could lose them to the Sanders/Warren Left. And that will be a problem.

So, I can see why Richard is suddenly becoming concerned.
