Janice, I did not know you were related to Mr. Greenspan. I am sorry if I have spoken of him in a way that is insulting to your family. What I don't understand is why everyone is whining so much when our baby MRVC, the stock that this very chat room is about, finished up on a day when the market was getting hammered. Perhaps in this market good companies will achieve their true value. Are you ready to pay 40 times earnings for Coke. I can only assume that none of the readers in this area are hedging their portfolios. Janice, I'm sure you are not sitting out there totally unhedged. When the stock makes new highs you can buy out of the money puts, write calls, bleed off a little and buy it lower. Today was a perfect example. MRVC was up 1 3/8 until the last 5 minutes of trading when it fell back to only up 3/8. Did any of you do a thing. Or did you simply sit and whine, "oh my it's going down." The market has never seen a bull run like this. It probably will not again for a long time. Greenspan did what he thought was right and everyone's just angry because they never hedged themselves to begin with. The market doesn't only go up. Remeber, one day they'll have to start printing sell tickets again. They'll shut the market down and no one, I repeat no one will have a chance to sell. Hedge yourself!!! No one else will do it for you!!!
