Dixon, thanks for the nice words. I am also invested heavily long in a company where I personally know the management and have visited the company many times. I have tested their product and believe it has great potential. And I probably defend too vigorusly when the company is attacked. But the market has not agreed with my view and the stock price is down 50%. You might look at FSTW thread.

Fortunately I did foresee the current market troubles and FSTW is my only significant remaining long position. (Why I thought FSTW would be immune to the market crash is now a mystery) As someone else suggested, I have been rotating out of small cap shorts (covered part of OCOM short today) and am now shorting some high fliers as the crash "matures". Recent shorts are AMZN, YHOO, CTXS. Dell and MSFT may be next.

Look at techstocks.com for my picks on July 21st, click on performance to see the results to date. Note that all positions are short. A part of those profits were consumed by my FSTW long position losses.(My REFR short position has recently increased)

After all of our debate on REFR, my opinion is that the financing is not a good thing and that the chances of technology success anytime soon are far from a sure thing. My short is likely to win, but I will be dodging bullets on the off chance REFR technology does turn out a winner and will switch to long side. In the mean time I am creating cheap shares for those of you who have a more positive outlook for REFR.

Thanks for the constructive debate and I will not post much on this thread unless there is new REFR news to be discussed.
