CNBC just reported that Evo Morales has announced that Bolivia will nationalize it's natural gas industry. The military has occupied 53 'energy installations'. I don't know what it means for mining, nothing for now. Apparently this has been expected for a while. The announcement followed a meeting between Morales, Castro and Chavez. Bolivia, Cuba and Venezuela have formed a trading block. It was also suggested that Peru might join them if Humala is elected. I think they also said they did not expect Humala to be elected. Just what I was able to catch from an on air interview which came on while I was reading the Apogee PR.
