The race tightens to bring products to market

And now, the race is on to see who can grab the biggest market share and mind share first: U.S. Robotics is slated to deliver its 56K-bps "x2" modems next week. Hard on its heels, Rockwell and Lucent announced yesterday that their competing and -- noncompatible -- K56Flex offering will be available next month.
