Who Me, as I said there are 3 types of funding that I know of. Gallery funding (this is where a gallery gets money for what it wants to do - probably the case here), Artist funding (emerging artists, Mapplethorpe is NOT that), and public works. Just because you and a bunch of your hysterical nutcase friends choose to create the illusion that the NEA funded a specific pornographic piece of artwork by some great artist who has literally created thousands of pieces in his lifetime - 8 of which are offensive - does not make it so. It is not so.
