Hello Epinephrine,

I don't speak HTML myself, but didn't we have a new member that worked for IBM state that his job is designing websites? With a little coaching, perhaps I could just put those pictures on my SI Profile page. It sounds like a good way to waste a day but if push comes to shove, I can get those pictures and we can all see what I'm talking about.

It's possible that I screwed up reading those codes but I'm really sure I didn't. In fact, the night after I took delivery of those 3 Athlons, I was so surprised at my own reading of them that I posted one of them to the BBS on AmdZone. A couple or replies confirmed my "9th week of 1999" reading. Those folks a AmdZone even referred me to the UK site that explained the date encoding system.

This whole thing doesn't seem to be that important, but I have no reservations about proceeding if necessary. After all, if we can all see the pictures of the processor/date codes, Elmer can then argue that AMD mismarked them!

Kindest regards,
CrazyMan
