Some of your information concerning MM's is correct some is not.

Nasdaq level one machine does not give a representative bid/mean quotation, it gives the BEST bid and BEST offer of all market makers. This is the same service as buying real time quotes from any vender. Level two will show the market makers and their current markets. Level three is exactly the same as level two except that it allows you to enter "YOUR" firms market for a specific security .

You forgot to mention "A.C.T". All otc trades are compared through it. For the life of me I can not remember what the letters stand for. Kind of like cusip. I could never remember that one either. Can any one out there help?
