They are taking away many jobs from the locals of many countries by coming in and going out the same day. They pollute the air in all ports by leaving their engines running 24/7.
The DO DUMP illegally ALL THE TIME....
if you go out off the coast of Belize just a couple miles the waters are completely saturated with GARBAGE from the ships. It's horrifying...and there is no enforcement....the countries are captive audiences of the monies the companies pay...monies which to NOT go to anyone but the goverment and most is siphoned off and never reached the real people of these countries.
The jobs would be easily replaced by having people actually FLY to the countries and stay in hotels, takes local tours, and eat in restaurants throughout the countries during the day AND night.
